PRESENTATIONS.
A social and dance was held on Saturday evening as a farewell gathering to Messrs. A. H. Campbell. H. G. Lakeman and D. O'Leary, telegraph engineers, who are being transferred. Mr. Campbell takes over the position of district engineer at Dunedin, Mr. Lakeman the post of engineer at Napier rvnd Mr. O'Leary engineer at Hamilton. Presentations were made to the three engineers, on behalf of the staff, by the district telegraph engineer, Mr. L. L. Macey. Mr. Campbell was given a mantel clock, Mr. Lakeman a tea service and Mr. O'Leary a radio loud speaker and cabinet.
