INDOOR BOWLING.

NORTH SHORE REUNION. The annual distribution of prizes by the Birkenhead and Northcote United Friendly Societies' Indoor Bowling Club took place on Saturday evening at a smoke concert, over 100 being present. The president, Mr. E. H. Steward, welcomed the representatives of the Waitemata Bowling Club, for whom Mr. M. J. Walsh, vice-president, and Mr. J. Williamson, secretary, replied, as did Mr. S. Eade, of Takapuna, on behalf of sister organisations on the North Shore. The chairman handed the Clive Sampson Cup, with its miniature, to E. Hoyland, winner of the championship singles, and a trophy to F. G. Blackwell, the runnerup. The cup for the handicap singles was also won by E. Hoyland, the trophy for the runner-up going to ,T. Lynch. The winners of the championship pairs, A. Wrightson and S. E. Kindley, each received cups, and trophies were given to the runners-up. W. L. Rowland and F. Farrington. Trophies were also presented to the various tournament winners.

Moulden (one-liter) 2. This was a most interesting tourney, nnd. as in the final, the issue of many games was in doubt until the last howl had been played. The final resulted in a win for H. Phillips by fl to 8, the runnerup again being W. Moulden.
