DIXIELAND.
There was a very large attendance at DixKd Cabaret 011 Saturday evening, when the special cooling-system installed for the summer months was greatly appreciated by the guests. Dance numbers by Miss Muriel Wilton, accompanied ;£ Famous Dixieland Band, were repeatedly encored. The tables were decorated with pink, red and white roses from Dixieland'* own rose garden. Among those present were: Mrs. Pye Smith? lacquer taffeta; Mrs Guy, ivory lace; Mrs. Sadgrove, black georgette, Mrs. J, A. Eccles, ivory satm and georcette- Mrs. D. Brooker. Wellington), name'georgette; Mrs. Jock Allen, bottle green velvet; Mrs. W. D. Tremlett, fmerald green lace; Mrs. G. R. Comes, maize and violet georgette; Mrs. Noel Hocking, egg blue organdie; Mrs. Ford North, turquoise blue georgette; Mis. -b. Addison, green floral georgette; Mrs. N. T Shaw, black eatin; Miss Janet Wallace, red and white check gingham; Miss Pat Buddie, lacquer red ring velvet; Mise Phyllis Ford, black ring velvet;. Miss Pat Knight, pastel pink satin; Miss Eleanor Beale, ivory eatin; Miss Joan Hayden, blue georgette and eatin; Miss Kate Franklin, black brocaded taffeta.
