MRS. ELLIS KHULL.
An early Canterbury settler, Mrs. Ellis Khull, has died at Christchurch. She arrived at Lyttelton with her family in the Sir George Pollock as far back as 1851. Her father, Mr. Thomas Gee, founded a confectionery business. Miss Gee was married to Mr. Thomas Khull, and went with him to Australia. When he died, in 18S6, she returned to Christchurch. The only surviving member of the original pioneer family is Mr. George Gee, of Auckland, who is 90 years of age. Mrs. Khull was a member of the Pilgrims' Association. She leaves a son and two daughters.
