LATEST FROM: SMITHFIELD. THE BANK'S REPORT. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this weekWethers: There is a better demand. Ewes: There is a better inquiry. Lambs: The market is firmer for lighter weights; heavies are steady. Wethers: Light, 3d to 3%d per lb; heavy, 2%d to 2%d. Ewes: l%d to 2%d. Lambs: Twos, 4%d to 5%d; eights, 4/id to 4%d; fours, 3%d to 4d; seconds, 3%d to 4d.
