A fine display of. handwork and cooking was given at the last meetmg. pnzes beta" won by Mesdames Bartlett and Tea °ue and Misses Faithfull and Stoney. 4 word-guessing competition was won by Mrs. Vipond. There was also a collection of basketware for sale from the Blind Institute. Afternoon tea, served by the hostesses, Mesdames Teague and Parkinson, sen., concluded a successful afternoon.
