ELECTROCUTED MINER.

NORTH AUCKLAND FATALITY. INQUEST THIS EVENING. WARO MINE TO BE INSPECTED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The inquest concerning Harry Parr, the miner who was electrocuted in the Waro colliery yesterday, will be held this evening. Mr. Barclay, Inspector of Mines, is expected to arrive this afternoon to make an inspection of the scene of the tragedy and the inquest will not be held until after that. In the meantime the mine is not working and the place where the fatality occurred has been fenced off. The cause of the accident Is a mystery. The bell wires are supposed to carry a load sufficient to ring a bell and it is not known how the wires became overloaded with current. It is revealed that a third man was injured. He went to ring a bell at the top of the shaft and received a shock, but before he could notify the men below the tragedy had occurred.
