FIRST DAY OF THE NEW ZEALAND GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Dominion c Lampions hips opened at the Heretaunga Wellington, yesterday, when the foursomes contests were decided. Looking down on the fifteenth green during the match between the Black brothers and Hornabrook and Horton. The latter pair took six at this hole and it cost them the title, the Black brothers, H. A. Black (left) and J. L. Black (right) retaining the amateur foursomes title.
