Rogersou and Mitchell (Rotorua) are staying at Hotel Stonehurst. * * # * ■ Miss Elva McDonald, of Victoria Avenue, Remuera, has left Auckland to attend the racing carnival at Christchurch. * • ♦ • Miss Zara Hutter, of Symonds Street, who has been on an extensive holiday to Australia, returned to Auckland by the Maunganui. * * • * Mrs. Fraer, of Christchurch, lady member of the Prisons Board, is the guest of Mrs. John Alexander, Remuera Road. *•' ♦ # Miss Alexander, chief home nursing sister for the Auckland Hospital Board, whose work during the winter months has been in following up cases which have been treated and discharged from hospital, has 'been granted leave to visit Rotorua. *#, • . * Dr. Buckley-Turkington, of Auckland, who went to England for the centenary of the 8.M.A., is doing child welfare and research in physiology while there. She was so unfortunate as to dislocate her hip, but fortunately the treatment she obtained at Bath has been very effective. She has since then been touring England, and will shortly go on the Continent to visit Geneva and other centres. She is returning towards the end of the year. Dr. Buckley-Turkin?-ton is no stranger to London, for before her marriage she did research' at the Lister Institute, Chelsea.
