PRICE OF BUTTER.
DOWN A ■ PENNY. Local distributors of butter, following the trend of the ;London market, • have reduced the price of butter as from to-day by one permy per lb. The new wholesale prices will be 1/ for finest and first grade, and lid for second grade. The retail prices, which were 1/3 and 1/1 respectively, •will be reduced by one penny.
