MAKE A POSTER.
SCISSORS AND PASTE PUZZLE. SPECIAL PRIZES FOR GOOD WORK. From work received at this office, I know that some of my readers are very clever at poster designing. . In ordinary poster work, one must be something of an artist to make a successful design, but to-day all those who wish may enter for a poster-making competition, whether or not they have any special ability with pencil or brush. ' In the "Auckland Star" there appear many advertisements, and from these, pictures and lettering must be cut and pasted together upon a sheet of paper' to. form an attractive poster. Only advertisements in last Saturday's and this evening's „issue of the "Star" may be used for this competition, and it is necessary for boys and girls to make a list-of all the advertisers from whose displays they have clipped pieces for their: posters. For the most cleverly thought-out posters sent in to this office by. Wednesday next, prizes of 10/, 7/6, 5/, 3/ and 2/6 will be awarded.
