ENGINEER GUILTY.
LENIENCY RECOMMENDED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The jury in the Supreme Court to-day found Walter Anderson Clifton, aged 49, engineer, guilty of indecent assault on. two little girls at Miramar on June 3. The jury made a recommendation to leniency. , „ The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, asked the foreman of the jury to state the grounds for the recommendation and a written statement was handed up. His Honor ordered a remand until Friday,
