FAITH HEALING.

USE OF TOWN HALL • PERMISSION REFUSED. CITY COUNCIL'S DECISION. NOTIFICATION TO MR. DALLIMORE. The finance committee of the Auckland City Council decided at a meeting yesterday afternoon not to allow the Town Hall to be used in future for faith healing meetings. The Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, said after the meeting that the committee controlled the letting of the. Town Hall, and that in view of the controversy that had arisen over recent meetings held there on Sunday evenings the committee considered it undesirable for the Town Hall to be let for such purposes. Notice of the decision had been forwarded to Mr. A. H. Dallimore, who has been conducting the meetings referred to. "I intend to take one of the theatres for my future meetings," said Mr. Dallimore this morning, He said that the letter he had received from the City Council expresned regret, but gave no reason. He had pjid for the Town Hall for next Sunday and he presumed that the charge would now be returned. It was to be the last of four meetings on Sunday evenings at the Town Hall. He recognised that the City Council was perfectly within its legal rights, and did not think that it was necessary for the council to give any reasons. HAMILTON INVESTIGATIONS. At a meeting of the Hamilton Ministers' Association yesterday it was decided to eet up a committee comprising representatives of educational, medical, clerical and busihees men's organisations to investigate alleged at Mr. A. H. Dallimore's faith healing missions.
