GRAFTON BRIDGE.
Is it not time \ve opened the question ot widening the above bridge? The last time the controversy arose it ended by the matter being dropped on the ground of expense (times being good and costs high), regret being expressed at the lack of foresight in the original plans, making it necessary to Increase the width. Now that cost of material and labour have come down to the rates ruling when the bridge was built and are not likely to bo lower, but will certainly increase when thing* improve, is this not the most opportune time for the work to be put in hand, j>. kldkkshaw.
