Pastor H. Roberts, of the Pentecostal Mission, returns to Wellington to-night after several months' service in Auckland. Ho was a member of the pioneer New Zealand Rugby football team to Australia forty-eight years ago. Mr. C. M. "Turfell, Dominion superintendent of the New Zealand Shipping Company, and Mr. N. S. Falla, New Zealand manager of the Federal Steam Navigation Company, arrived at Auckland from Wellington on a short business visit this morning:. Dr. J. H. Jtushbrookc, secretary of the Baptist World Alliance, who has been on a tour of Now Zealand, left Auckland yesterday for Rotorua. Hβ will return to Auckland in time to sail on his homeward voyage to. London next week. Messrs. I!. B. Hardy; president of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, and E, W. Griffiths, a member of the executive, leave for Wellington to-night to meet members of the New Zealand Association on business connected with the appearance in New Zealand of the American tennis team. M. Rene Ledbux, a French Government oflteial, who has been Land Registrar in the New Hebrides for the pas* three and a half years, arrived in Auckland from Sydney this morning by the Monterey. After a short tour of New Zealand' ho will return to his horn* town, Auexerre, in Burgundy. He is at the Grand Hotel.
