CHRISTIAN SUNDAY TYRANNY.

It is very wrong that Christians should not keep holy the day of the Feast of Bairan. We have to be idle on Sundays, yet the inndels work, eat pork and play on our sacred day. The Christian people in this country, according to a sahib in Parliament, are descendants of untouchables, as they came out of slums in England. They have their castes. The upper, or wealthy, caste play ? ol£ or tennis during Sunday, and bridge in the evening. The lower caste who buy the s-pecked fruit may play tennis in the suburbs if they can afford it. They are not allowed to play cricket or football except on the- beaches, to which they go in cheap and used motor cars and buses. Many of them stay at home and read the Saturday papers, which contain stories of the doings of their mullahs, like the one who was much mentioned in the papers lately. The Presbyterians, like our own sluas, profess to be very strict. They were the strongest in suppressing the national army. If they could only do away with machine guns the followers of the true prophet would soon convert the Feringi, or unbelievers, and make them obedient to the Muezzin's call to prayers. As to the bowlers, who lay the mat, not always to the East, contort themselves like fakirs and worship a houri called Kitty, they grumble at not being able to play on Sundays! They fear the scowls of the domineering alleged faithful. The tramcars and ferries which take few to church and which cause men to work on Sundays are used by the city sahibs to get money. In the name of the prophet Hypocrisy, ALI JAKKAI.
