DUNEDIN'S WET WEEK-END.
LABOUR DAY PICNIC HELD. CRICKET MATCH POSTPONED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Heavy rain showers commenced on Saturday afternoon and continued yesterday and this morning. Nevertheless the Labour Day picnic was held at Evan6dale. The only postponement in sporting circles was the cricket match between an Otago team and a team of colt's chosen by F. T. Badcock, the New Zealand representative player.
