Reference was made to the fine performance of R. C. Caddy in winning the pairs championship two years in succession. H. Whittle was congratulated on his team's sterling efforts In the Rotorua and Easter tournamentß, being runners-up in both. The Labour Day Cup was presented to Mr. W. Liversidge, whose team (F. Baildon, B. Emerali, W. Mincham) were congratulated by the president. The club's official opening takes place on Saturday, October 22, and the Annual cup tournament will be held on Labour Day.
