ATTEMPTED THEFT ALLEGED.
WINDOW CLEANER ARRESTED. "We would like a week's remand in order to make some further inquiries about this young man," said DetectiveSergeant Kelly, in the Police Court this morning, when Edward Albert Towers, aged 29, window cleaner, wan charged with attempting to 6teal a case and consents valued at £2, belonging to Margaret L. Trafford. . The magistrate granted the remand, bail being allowed Towers in the sum of £50.
