OBITUARY.
MR. JOHN MOORE. A resident of Auckland district foi 04 years, Mr. John Moore died on October 7 at tlie home of liis daughter, Mrs. A. Corden, Home Street, Grey Lynii. Born in County Durham, England, Mr. Moore learned shipbuilding, but at the age of 20 went to sea for health reasons. In IS6B Mr. Moore settled in Auckland and afterwards was f0r5?14 years on Coromandel goldfields. Qrifciveturning to Auckland he started s and firewood yard at Arch Hill, air. Moore is survived by the following children: —Mr. John Moore, Kohlmarama; Mrs. A. Corden and Mrs. W. Rainbow.
