AUCKLAND AFFAIRS.
SEMI-FINAL CUP TIES. GAMES FOR SATURDAY. Arrangements for the semi-finals and final of the Falcon Cup competition were finalised ut a meeting of the control board of the Auckland Football Association last evening. The semi-finals will he decided on Saturday and the final the.following week. It was decided that in the event of l'onsonby winning its Falcon Cup semi-final match next Saturday, thus preventing the club from fulfilling ail outstanding championship fixture with Tramurewa the following week, the latter match will be played to-da., week at Blandford Park, commencing at five o'clock. The following matches will be played on Saturday :—
Falcon Cup Competition.—Semi-finals: Y.M.C.A. v. Abel's, Blandford Park, 1.30 p.m., Mr. \V. Mitchell, linesmen MusiJrs. Wylle and Austin; Ponsonby v. Thistle, Blandford Park, 3 p.m., Mr. J. Calvert, linesmen Messrs. A. Fletcher and 11. Crocker. *
