OFFICIAL OPENINGS.
THE AOTEA CLUB. Ideal weather prevailed for the official opening of the Aotea Tennis Club on Saturday. There was a large and enthusiastic attendance of members and friends. The president, Mr. A. T. Long, welcomed the visitors and declared the season open, Mrs. Long hitting the first ball. A knock-out tourney was held, the winners being Miss Moody and Aikman.
