MAN'S DEAD BODY.
DISCOVERY AT OHINEWAI. RECEIPT BEARING NAME FOUND. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HUNTLY, this day. The body of a man which has not yet been identified was found by the Huntly police late yesterday afternoon in an unoccupied hut on Mr. Caleb Hill's property at Ohinewai. A double-barrelled shotgun was found beside the body with one shot discharged. The man is believed to have been dead two or .three days. Documents found on the body include a receipt bearing the name James T. L. Galbally. A man registered under that name and stayed at the Rangiriri Hotel on Saturday night, and he is reported to have proceeded to Ohinewai on Sunday morning. When the body was found it had on it a dark grey suit and black leather overcoat. The man was aged about 56. An inquest will probably be held tomorrow.
