SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. UNIVERSITY TO PLAY PONSONBY. KEEN GAME ANTICIPATED. Another fast and opea exhibition of Kugby should be seen at Eden Park tomorrow afternoon, when University will meet Ponsonby in the chief attraction of the Auckland Rugby Union's senior programme. If University can reproduce the form that they displayed when they made a thrilling draw of it with Grammar Old Boys last week they should go very near to getting the win. Ponsonby, who are at present level with Grammar at the head of the championship table, will be all out to secure a victory, as success will mean that they will be in the final to-morrow fortnight. Bright play should also be seen in the curtain-raiser between Training College and Marist Old Boys. At Gribble Hurst Park, Grammar should have no great difficulty in defeating Grafton, but the game between Otahuhu and College Rifles at the Showgrounds should be more even.
