At present Mr. and Mrs. David Nathan are staying at Amersfoort, Berkhamsted, but will bo in town for September. * * * • Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Rendall, of Auckland, who have been staying for some time in Bristol, are on a six months' pleasure tour, during which they will see not only the Old Country, but also the Continent, before they return via Suez. They went via Honolulu, where they spent six days, and travelled thence to San Francisco. Los Angeles nnd Hollywood. They then went on to Vancouver, Banff, Lake Louise, Toronto, Niagara, Chicago, Washington, New York and Montreal.

Mrs. W. P. Salmon, William Street, Takapuna, gave a very enjoyable afternoon last week to welcome Mrs. P. S. Gee, who has returned to Milford after two years abroad, and Mrs. Sherley. who intends to make her home at Milford. A dainty afternoon tea was served, and the rooms were artistically arranged with spring flowers. Amongst those present were: Mesdames Gee, Sherley, Blomfield, Allan Brown. J. Worsley, Randall, L. Bull, Allen, Myall, Clouston,' Scales and Miss Claire Gee; also Mrs. Eade, of Rotorua.
