MOTOR SHIP'S RECORD.

FROM NAURU. A record in the way of smart loading, a fast trip and rapid discharge is claimed by the ofticers of the Bank Line motor ship Klmbank, which arrived at Auckland from Nauru Tsland with phosphate this morning. The ship loaded a full cargo, came to Auckland, discharged her freight, returned to the island and loaded another full cargo, all within 28 days. But for the fact that the ship had to wait two days before she could commence loading, her time would have been even better. The trip to Auckland was made in nine days and a half. "The Cilenbank claimed the record previously, but we have beaten her time b ytwo days." said one of the officers this afternoon. On completion of her discharge the Elm bank is to return to Nauru to pick up another cargo.
