News has been received from England that Miss Rank Agnes Charlotte Steer, younger daughter of the late Captain G. H." T. Steer and Mrs. Steer, of Queen's Gate Gardens, has become engaged to Mr. Lan StoddartBarr, of the Brookland School of Flying, and eon of Mrs. Stoddart-Barr, Hobart, Tasmania. Mrs. Steer, who was a Miss Donald, formerly lived in Auckland.
