DAMAGES CLAIM.
PROPERTY EXCHANGE SEQUEL SUPREME COURT ACTION. A claim for damages arising out of an agreement for an exchange of town and farm property was heard before Sir. Justice Smith in the Supremo Court to-day. The agreement had been signed by Bold Marchant', farmer, of Onewhero, and James • Howard Arnett, traveller, of Remuera. Arnett's property in Portland Road was exchanged for Marcliant's farm of 225 acres at Onewhero. Arnett had refused to go on with the deal and Mareliant to-day asked for an order for specific performance of the contract and for £150 damages.
The hearing is proceeding.
