RELIEF STRIKE ECHO.

MAN BROUGHT BEFORE COURT ACTIVITIES AMONG UNEMPLOYED. (By Telegraph.—l Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Arrested yesterday, John Harvey Blair, who was not a relief worker, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., to-day on four charges of wrongfully and without legal authority watching or besetting a place where relief workers were. Accused pleaded not guilty and asked for an adjournment in order to prepare his defence. An adjournment was granted till Friday, the accused being allowed bail on his own surety of £100 and two sureties of £50, a condition being that he should refrain from activities among the unemployed. The case is a sequel to the strike among a section of the relief workers, Which is now dying out, nearly all the men being back at work.
