THREE CARS COLLIDE.
ACCIDENT IN ANZAC AVENUE
RABBI A PASSENGER.
Thrco motor cars were thrown into collision shortly after one o'clock this afternoon at the intersection of Anzac Avenue and Alton Road. A funeral car, driven by Mr. J. O'Donnell, was crossing Anzac Avenue from Waterloo Quadrant, when it came into collision with a smaller car, driven by Mr. D. Kyver, proceeding up Anzac Avenue. The big car was slewed across Alton Road and struck another car being driven by Mr. W. S. Taylor. Two cars had the bumpers damaged and one a mudguard, while one also had a headlight broken. In the car driven by Mr. O'Donnell were the Rabbi, the Rev. S. A. Goldstein, and Mr. L. Marks, both of whom were on their way to attend a funeral. The Rabbi was shaken a little by the shock of the collision, but was able to attend the funeral in another car.
