TRAM AND CAR COLLIDE.
MOTORIST BADLY INJURED. '. ACCIDENT DT REMUERA ROAD. The driver of a small motor car, Mr. Allan Scott, of 57, Benson Road, Remuera, sustained serious head injuries when his car crashed into a tramcar in Remuera Road, near the Bassetfc Eoad intersection, shortly after 10 o'clock last night. The car was badly damaged. The vehicles collided head on, and the car was pushed along for some yards at the front of the tram, and Mr. Scott was thrown violently against the driving, wheel. He was taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, wheru his condition to-day was stated to be serious. He is an employee of Seabrook, Fowlds, Limited.
