PILLOW FIGHT INJURED.
SHIES AT VEHICLE. CUTS HIND FETLOCK. While on his way to the track at Takanini this morning, the three-year-old gelding Pillow Fight, by Night Raid from Week End, who was recently purchased by Mr. R. A. McLean from the trustees of the estate of the late Mr. W. G. Stead, "shied at■ a passing vehicle, and striking a culvert cut a hind fetlock, severing a small artery. . Dr. W. C. Ring attended to the injury, which is stated not to be very serious, and though it is not expected he will be off the scene for very long, he may have to forego his Avondale engagements.
