COMPENSATION CLAIM FAILS.
Judgment for the defendant was given by Mr. Justice Frazer in the claim for compensation brought by an Auckland Transport Board labourer, Victor Hugh Towneeml, of Devonport, against hi 3 employers in the Arbitration Court yesterday afternoon. His Honor said that, according to the weight of medical evidence, plaintiff's hernia had been completely cured by the operations, and that "his heart had not been affected by his accident or by the operations. He had been paid full compensation by defendant for the period of disability due to the hernia.
