HARRIERS.

AUCKLAND REP. TEAM. GOOD WORK AT MISSION BAT. The team of harriers chosen to represent 1 Auckland province at the Dominion championship meeting to be held at Christchurch next Saturday consisting of N. B\ Cooper (Technical), Alister Browne (Lynndale), J. Nicholson (Auckland), A. G.'Bradley (Technical) and L. C. Baker (Technical), with K. C. Haszard, the emergency man, held a practice run on Saturday over the 10,000 metre course, starting and finishing at Mission Bay. J. Nicholson and Ansel Browne also ran this course on Wednesday afternoon. The team, together with a number of supporters leave by the 3 p.m. express on Wednesday.

TECHNICAL OLD BOYS' CLUB RUN.

A fine muster of 30 runners of the Technical College Old Boys' Athletic Club held a run on Saturday from the homo of Mr. T. M. Wilson, Harrier captain, in Mt. Smart Road. The course lay down Mount Smart Road, around the base of the mountain, back towards One Tree Hill, circling the Maungakiekie golf links and back to the starting point. The course was heavy and stony, but after the season's racing the pace was easy, and the run did not prove a strenuous one. A run-in of some 350 yards was held, which resulted as follows : A. Fraser 1, W. S. Bainbridge 2, D. Knight 3, T. M. Wilson 4, W. Pearson 5, W. J. Murray 6.

PAPATOETOE CLUB. A combined run of the Calliope, Lynndale and Papatoetoe harriers was held on Jilaturday over a six-mile course, starting from the new stadium grounds and finishing with a run-in of 300 yards along Kolmar Road. D. Germann, of the Papatoetoe Club, won the run-in. The pack went away at 3 p.m., the course being from the stadium, down Wal-" lace Koad, through Punui, thence over the top of Wirt mountain, back through Homai, Great South Road, Carruth Road to Kolmar Road, finishing with a run-in to Central Theatre, Papatoetoe; about six miles. A steady pace was maintained all the way and the run-in resulted: —D. Germann (Papatoetoe) 1, R. McGregor (Lynndale) 2, R. McKenzie (Papatoetoe) 3, G. Heron (Lynndale) 4, W. R. Armour (Calliope) 5, R. McCombie (Calliope) 6.
