DIOMEDE RETURNING.
END OF ISLAND CRUISE.
Returning from her annual Island cruise, H.M.s. Diomede is due at Auckland from Suva at 7 a.m. on Friday next. The Diomede left . Auckland for Nukualofa at 9 a.m. on June 28. After Nukualofa she visited Rarotonga, Papeete, Raiatea, Bora Bora, Pago Pago and Suva. She has been at Suva for the past fortnight, and was scheduled to clear there for Auckland to-day. A further radio is expected from her on Thursday evening. H.M.s. Veronica is scheduled to return to Auckland on September 5, and the Laburnum on September 19. Both are at present in the Islands. ,
