DICKENS FELLOWSHIP.
The president, Mrs. Kenneth Gordon, occupied the chair at last night's meeting of the Auckland branch of the Dickens Fellowship, which was well attended. The evening's programme was in charge of Mr. J. W. Kealy, and consisted of further study of the book, "Great' Expectations." A dialogue, "Joe and Pip," was given by Messrs., G. G. Grant and R. C. Norris, and readings were contributed as follows: "Pip's visit to Mrs. Haversham and Estella," Mr. G. S. Bullen: "Trabb's Boy," Miss M. Manning; "Mr. Wopsle Plays Hamlet," Mr. J. E. Green; "Pip's meeting with Estella," Miss Geddes.
