BRAND IN DEMAND.
MAORI BUTTER PRODUCERS. LONDON CONGRATULATIONS. POVERTY BAY ACHIEVEMENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNE, this day. The Ngatiporou Dairy Company, at Ruatoria, whose suppliers are mostly Maoris, and have proved their ability as farmers, has received an encouraging report from the London agents, who express appreciation of the high quality which has been maintained throughout the past season. The Ngatiporou brand of butter has been given the widest possible distribution, not only in London, but aleo in South Wales and Birmingham, many buyers having extended congratulations on the excellent quality of the product. The agents also stated that a firm demand for the brand had been established, and they hoped to have the pleasure of handling larger "quantities during the new season.
