DEADLOCK REACHED.
HOTELKEEPERS' DISPUTE.
WAGE REDUCTION ISSUE. (By Telegraph.—Pres3 Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Conciliation Council to-day failed to reach agreement in the licensed hotel workers' dispute. The employers asked for a 10 per cent reduction on the present wages, the workers offering 5 per cent.' A deadlock was reached after some hours' discussion. A motion to refer the dispute to the Arbitration Court was lost.
