Rain Holds Up Test Trial At Cardiff. INDIANS' MATCH DRAWN. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 28. Owing to rain, there was no play today at Cardiff in the Test cricket trial, England v. The Rest. The match between India (101 and eight for 138 declared) and Northumberland (143 and two for 45) was drawn. The best bowling performance was that of J. ■L. Allan, who took fivo wickets for 32 in India's first innings.
