-■■ » i AN IDLE WEEK-END. SENIOR MATCHES POSTPONED. The Soccer senior competition will be suspended to-morrow afternoon in view of the visit of the English League teani. Only lower grade matches up till two o'clock will bo played. A representative team will travel to Hikurangi to play North Auckland and will be accompanied by Mr. R. M. Bcsiviek, representing the A.F.A. The Y.M.C.A. will visit Hamilton, where they will play the local Wanderers in the North Island semi-final of the Chatham Cup* contest. The winners are due to play Wellington Marists in the final before meeting the South Island champions. The Y.M. are confident of victoi'y, but are leaving nothing to chance. Blandford Park will be handed over to the junior grades for Saturday and matches will bo played every hour from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thp Auckland tram for Hikurangi is: Morrlp, R.
