BLIND INSTITUTE CONCERT.
. • • p The Jubilee Institute for the Blind pro- G vided an enjoyable concert in the King's N Theatre, Northeote, last night in aid of o local unemployed. Mr. D. E. La Roche, S president of the Nortlicote Unemployed T Association, took the chair, and thanked a the party for their services and the spirit G in which they were given. Items were IV rendered by the Institute Band, the a ; Girls' Orchestra and the Jubilee, Dance 1 Band, by Mr. Sam Gordon (recitations, Maori songs, piano and saxophone solos), Miss Rina Bedogni (Braille reading), Miss of May Bray (songs), Mr. J. Shortt (recita- n tions), and Mr. A. Morton (cornet solo). C Miss L. Martin acted as accompanist. le Speak the truth, to stand or fall, , j .
