BRIGHT WRESTLING.

WALKER WINS AGAIN. GEORGE WILSON DEFEATED. AMERICAN'S IMPROVED DISPLAY. After losing the first fall in the opening round, George Walker (Canada) defeated George Wilson (America) in quick time at the Town Hall last evening. The Canadian equalised the score in the third round and took the mutch early in the fourth. Walker's second fall was a submission one and Wilson complained later that the refree had made a mistake in awarding it, as he had not submitted.| A splendid attendance witnessed the match, there being hardly a vacant seat in the hall. Although the match was short—three falls were registered in less than 25 minutes—it was bright and interesting and the big crowd appeared well satisfied. The Wilson who met Walker last night was a very different man from the Wilson who scored a colourless win over Tommy Thompson two weeks ago. Against Walker the American wrestled cleverly and was always willing to mix it. Walker's strength, it seemed, was what turned the scales, and after the Canadian had dropped the first fall he never looked to be in really serious danger of losing another. Exciting Start. Excitement come early, Wilson, whose weight of 13. li' made him one pound lighter than Walker, went after his opponent and made most of the early points. The fun started when Walker threw his man into the ropes. Wilson picked himself up slowly, but suddenly leapt into action and threw himself at liis opponent in a vicious tackle. The Canadian was caught off his guard and the force of the American's charge sent him through the ropes. He crawled back again, only to be tackled hard a second and a third time. Walker attempted to present a difficult target, but it was no use, a ; ud a fourth time Wilson charged with shoulder lowered. The American then threw himself on his opponent and easily took the first fall with a body press.

Wilson was in Walker's corner at the sound of the gong for round two, but was promptly tipped up and held quiet for a time in a head scissors. After escaping from a splits Walker threw his opponent off the mat. One of the American's arms got caught in the ropes and as he struggled to get free Walker charged at him. It was Wilson's good luck that the referee (Mr. 0. Pollard) quickly decided that the American was at a disadvantage and jumped in front of the charging Canadian. Wilson was either dazed or pretending to be, and Walker again threw him into the ropes. Later the Canadian tried to jump on his man with both feet. Walker Equalises. It was wild going in the third. Walker started off by throwing the American against the ropes with a headlock, and repeated the trick three times. Just when ho looked to be "all in," Wilson charged and bowled the Canadian over. Again ho charged, but this time Walker jumped aside and the American dived through the ropes. As soon as Wilpon had picked himself up Walker threw him heavily with a wristlock and got on top of him to take a fall with a body press. The match ended tamely in the fourth round. Three minutes after the gong Walker secured a double wristlock, which he quickly converted into a hammerlock. The Canadian tugged at the hold and looked at the referee, who lost no time in tapping him on the back and declaring him the winner. Wilson appeared to be in serious trouble for a few minutes, but later expressed the opinion that he would have been able to somersault out of the hold.
