WELLINGTON, this day.
A short time after he was charged and remanded to-day on an allegation of the theft of a gold watch, leather chain and gold chain, of a total value of £8, Lum Hay (30), a Chinese, wae recalled and the information against him withdrawn, owing to the police receiving advice that the complainant had died this morning.
