I would go further and insist that the windows should be made with a space of at least three inches at the top open permanently. It coma be done by having a sort of verandah runnin., on the outside to keep the rain out. I prefer to ride outside no matter how cold the weatner than to be cooped up in a stuffy tram.. la* K ' in" about windows, I think rhe Transport Board ought to put on a few of the unemployed to clean them, for some are badly m need of it. ,„ ,->ttt.c<c« HEALTH AND CLEANLINESS.
