PAINTER DROWNED.
The body of a married man,_ Mr. Eugene Maguirc, aged 50, a painter, was found "yesterday in Cox's Creek, Grey Lynn, just above the bridge in West End Road. Mr. Maguire left home on Monday morning about 8 o'clock to work at his trade at a house in the district. He worked during the day, but did not return home in the evening. An inquest, was opened by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this morning, when evidence of identity was taken.
