VICE-REGAL.
For over an hour this morning their Excellencies, the Governor-fJeneral am! the Lady Bledisloe, were visitors at the premises of Messrs. Bycroft, Limited They were received by the manager, Mr. J. P. O'Connor, and by one of the directors, Mr. J. Lawry. They were then conducted over the biscuit factory and the flour mill.
This afternoon Lord and Lady Bledisloc went through the rope and twine factory of Messrs. Donaghy and Company. The manager, Mr. W. Edmunds, pointed out the various items of interest and while the visit was in progress :i large Gin Manila hawser 'was undei ■ going manufacture.
Their Excellencies will attend the screening of the British film. "Rich and Strange," at the Regent Theatre this evening, and to-morrow they will pay their first official visit to Pukekohe and Waiuku.
