EXCHANGE POOL.
OBSERVANCE OF CONDITIONS. STATEMENT BY MR. FORBES. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A condition of the lifting of the exchange pool regulations laid down by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, last month was that exporters should observe the regulations in both spirit and letter until the end of June, when the Order-in-Council establishing the pool would be revoked. Mr. Forbes, in announcing yesterday that the pool would be released on June 30, said he had been assured that exporters were carrying out the terms, and that there had been no withholding of shipments.
