MANCHURIA CUSTOMS.
JAPANESE INTENTIONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, June 13. Questioned as to the intention! of the Japanese Government regarding the Manchurian Customs, Captain Eden, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, said control of Manchurian Customs by the Japanese Government would be entirely inconsistent with the assurances given that they shared Britain's desire to see the integrity of the Chinese maritime Customs maintained.
