FLYING AT MANGERE.
THOENE TROPHY CONTEST. The fourth contest for the Thorne formation trophy at the Mangerc aerodrome resulted in a win for Messrs. E. P. Firth (leader), L. M. Squire, and Miss G. Peacock. The contest was judged by WingCommander K. L. Caldwell. Arrivals at the aerodrome yesterday were Captain Lett, from Hastings, and Mr. M. Scott, from Hamilton.
