MOTOR LIMITATIONS.
MORE UNIFORMITY WANTED,
The Auckland Sports Motor Cycle Club prepared at' the general meetinglast week a remit to the A.C.U. on the question of the rules governing the limitation of motors in championship events.
Mr. L. Coulthard asked the club to seek from the A.C.U. an interpretation of the rules. Some clubs, he stated, allowed both 500 c.c. and 350 c.c, machines to compete in middle-weight events, but others made the 350 c. c , machines ineligible. Other speakers expressed the opinion that if the rider of a 350 c.c. machine could qualify, and his mount was capable of challenging seriously the 500 e.c, motors, he should be allowed to compete" otherwise riders would be discouraged from entering for meetings away from home. It was decided to send a remit on these lines to the next annual conference of the A.C.U. '
